The Hobbit: An Unexpected Blog Hop

It's coming up on Elevensies and the little hobbits are hungry! You'll certainly have a tale or two to tell when you get back from this unexpected journey through Hobbit themed bentos brought to you by Bento Bloggers & Friends to celebrate the new movie The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey based on the novel by J.R.R. Tolkien.

Inspired by the trailers and posters here's our Hobbit feast. You can't right have any kind of journey on an empty stomach. We begin with a banana etched with the title. The Hobbit Hole ham and cheese sandwich with working door and Bilbo Baggins waiting outside. On his journey he'll need a Cucumber sword for protection. Down in the caves he'll meet a honeydew melon Gollum fishing in his fruit leather boat for chocolate goldfish while protecting his precious banana laffy taffy ring. One lunch to feed them all...

Now surely one lunch could never be enough to fill you up so hop on over to Molly's Lunch Box to continue your adventure and keep hopping until you make it all the way back to our shire. Just click the button below to continue on your journey.
