Cub Scouts

Back in February (yes its been a long time since I've posted), our big Green Monkey was getting ready to go to his first Blue & Gold banquet. To celebrate I made him a Cub scout lunch his advancement to bobcat.

In this lunch : In an Easy Lunchbox
  • Cub scout pack 202 - Peanut butter and jelly sandwich
  • Goldfish cookies (camping themed banquet)
  • Heart strawberries
  • Peanut butter and celery
He also got to make a cake for the banquet. He chose tie-dye with smores frosting...and and extreme amount of candy for the camping site.

He mixed the whole thing and added it to the pan layer by layer.

Jelly bean campsite: Tents - Fudge mint cookies, sleeping bags - sour punch apple strips, tree stumps - tootsie rolls, bushes - gummy mint spears, campfire - tootsie rolls and jelly beans, lake - minion graham with fishing pole pretzel and sour patch rope line, swedish fish, and jelly beans, Blue and Gold cubs - gummy bears, rocks  and border jelly beans, graham cracker crumb dirt, and fondant pack number, den number, and symbol.

Despite the sugar overload it was delicious. It took second place overall those submitted, they had no idea this was inside it.
