World Autism Day

Today is World Autism Awareness Day. Light it up blue! So adorning our blue outfits today we set out to play in Texas Bluebonnets. What can I say, we just love our friends, and their Autism/Aspergers just brought out extra helpings of awesome. Loving and sweet and always fun to be around. While searching for the right words to express how special these people are to our lives I came across a top 10 quote list that will melt your heart.

• Every piece matters : Blue Autism awareness ribbon then cut into puzzle pieces - Jelly sandwich
• Heart strawberries with heart pick
• Carrots with Blue pick

After school we ventured out to the bluebonnets for our annual spring pictures. I know they aren't lunch related but they're the kids eating all these lunches :)

Autism Awareness day

Autism Speaks community is lighting the world up Blue today to raise awareness and help fund research. So to celebrate we're lighting ourselves up blue...wearing blue anyway :) We have a quite a few friends on the Autism spectrum and they are some of the nicest, smartest, fantastic people you could ever hope to meet. Their parents are some of the toughest people on the planet. They fight every day to help their children not only be accepted by society (which it should anyway come on get with it people) but to express themselves as freely as any other person. Just as with Down Syndrome Day which we celebrated last month I won't name all the wonderful people in our lives, but want to reflect on how much they teach us. Help us to think, love, and smile more. If you have been blessed to know or raise or be one of these people then today is all about you and celebrating how special and wonderful you really are. • Autism puzzle - Peanut butter and jelly. I wish I had the cutter but I don't so I used food coloring

Fast Preschool - Diamond

Little Blue monkey is going through an anti-color, anti-cheese phase. 

So we kept it simple and it took no more than 5 min to have a cute fun simple lunch.

In this lunch - 

• Diamond and triangle peanut butter and jelly
• Goldfish colors
• Fruit salad - 1 cutie, 1 strawberry, and grapes
